Niecy Nash-Betts is aiming for big-screen stardom in 2025. At a holiday event benefiting Children's Hospital Los Angeles, which she co-hosted with Adrienne Maloof, the 54-year-old actress revealed her ambitions for the coming year, saying, "Becoming a movie star. Mother's mastered the small screen." Known for her roles in popular series like Scream Queens, Claws, Grotesquerie, and Reno: 911!, Nash-Betts encouraged fans to stay tuned, adding, "Buy a ticket to my movie, honey!"
Reflecting on her success, Nash-Betts expressed gratitude for what she calls a life guided by a higher power. "I knew the call on my life was to entertain," she said. "I wake up every morning and live in gratitude that I get to do it every day."
Sharing that she always wants to spread the benefits of her work, Nash-Betts explained, "When I get a job, I make sure others eat from that blessing. I never want my blessing to just be for me because I'm entrusted with this responsibility to make people feel."
Looking ahead, she also teased the possibility of a one-woman show in the future. "I've tried playing with the idea, but life has been 'life-ing' and it didn't happen yet," she acknowledged. "I'm a big believer in timing, so when the time is right, it will manifest."
